Task #1 – I apologize for having to be gone again and can promise I will be back tomorrow. The first thing that I want you to do is get your Reference Notebooks ready for tomorrow’s notebook check. The front  cover should have your name, period #, and class name on it. When you open your notebook your “Prot Psychoanalysis Questions” should be in the front folder still. The first page in your notebook needs to be your “Table of Contents”. At this point your table of contents  should have the following pages listed:

Page 1 – 7 Key Theories on Why We Commit Crime

Page 2 – Organized/Disorganized Killer Chart

Page 3 – Psychiatric Disorders

Page 4 – Stalker Types

Page 5 – Stalker Behavior Escalation chart

Make sure these pages are in order behind the table of contents and numbered.

Task #2 – If the substitute allows you to, your grades have been updated online through Synergy and are also available on my own website on the “Grades” page. If you have just transferred in or you were moved class periods it’s possible your grade is “N/A”. This just means the grades are still being transferred or inputted. If you have a very low grade it is primarily due to having turned in a poorly written essay or you did not turn one in at all. If you believe your grade is wrong, and have evidence to back it up, please e-mail me at today so that I can look into and e-mail you back. When I return tomorrow I will be passing back your work so you can see how you reached your grade.

Task #3 – Once you have checked your grade and made sure your notebook is ready for my review I want you to create today a “Guide to Stalker  Deterrence”. In this guide, which will be written like an essay, I want you in your own words to define what a stalker is, how their behavior becomes increasingly dangerous, and give the reader a list of ways to deter and hopefully prevent stalkers from coming after them. Give the reader advice as to how to lower their odds of being stalked and if they are already being stalked a list of ideas about how to protect themselves from a stalker. If you need an idea of how a guide should read and be organized you can look on your smartphones at the guide I have posted below. Once you are done writing your guide please have the substitute teacher sign the top left corner of your paper so I know it was completed in class. I will be grading this guide with my essay rubric which is also available for download below.
