Why Should You Study Law?

Good question. To answer let me tell you a true story. Between September 2nd and 5th in 1666 a major fire broke out in the city of London, England that destroyed or severely damaged large sections of the city and took several days to put out. The people of London demanded someone answer for this fire. A man named Robert Hubert was executed after he claimed to have started the fire by throwing a crude fire grenade through an open window in Farriner Bakery. Robert was executed for starting the great fire even after it was discovered that he was too crippled to walk, the bakery had no windows, and according to a ships log he wasn’t even in London until two days after the fire began. If your angry or even simply wondering how an innocent man was executed for this crime then you have already taken the first step to understanding why you should study law.
