-May 28, 2015 – Received Teacher of the Year Award at Cesar Chavez High School (Students and Teachers voted anonymously)

– August 14, 2014 – Officially appointed co-department chair of the Social Studies department.

– June 5, 2014 – Received Certificate of Appreciation from Cesar Chavez High School’s Principal for work done during the 2013-2014 school year.

– June 2, 2014 – Asked to become a building captain for Cesar Chavez High School. This title is effective for when semesters end and teachers pack up their rooms.

– May 27, 2014 – Received Teacher of the Year Award at Cesar Chavez High School (Students and Teachers voted anonymously)

– February 18, 2014 – Leadership Teacher involved in training teachers on the Data Collaboration Team method.

– January 2014 – Became a S.L.C. (Small Learning Community) Lead Teacher for the Law & Order pathway at Cesar Chavez High School.

– December 12, 2013 – Was invited to join the Leadership Teachers Team for Cesar Chavez High School.

-November 25, 2013 – Developed the TitanLawAndOrder.com website for the Law & Order Small Learning Community at Cesar Chavez High School.

– November 12, 2013 – Trained myself to develop and construct a website so I could create MrTylersLessons.com.

– August 2013 – Became a contributing member of the Law & Order Small Learning Community at Cesar Chavez High School.

– 2011-2012 at Granite Hills: I increased enrollment for the Advanced Placement (A.P.) Microeconomics course by 12% and I increased enrollment for taking the Microeconomics A.P. exam to 46 students, with a record passing average score of a 3.

– Collaborated in revising the World History and U.S. History benchmark exams utilized by A.V.U.S.D. at Granite Hills.

– I developed an interdepartmental and administration computerized calendar in 2007 for appointment setting to eliminate overbooking the conference rooms at Granite Hills High School.
