Task #1 ( 7th Round Mock Trial)

If you were gone yesterday and did not check the website like you should have, I turned this trial into a written trial brief as a way for you to prove subject matter competency for this trial. Each member of each team will be writing a trial brief individually and sharing it to MrTylersLessons.com This will be a five paragraph standard academic format. You have 90 minutes to complete this today so you have no reason not to have the finished before you leave class. If you want to hand write this trial brief you may, I will pick it up from you when I see you again. I would recommend you type this trial up with the title “Period # – Your Name – 7th Round Trial) that way you know it has been sent in and I have access to grade it. Use the format below for guidance in writing.

Title:

Your Case Name and Side

Paragraph 1:

Introduction to the case

Paragraph 2:

Laws involved in this case with an explanation of how they are involved in this case, previous cases that have been tried that you can bring up in court as precedent and how they can support your side. Refer back to your packets / PDF files for this.

Paragraph 3:
