- Why do you think that people today tend to document incidents through their phones instead of reporting them?
- What is “victim blaming”?
If you never turned in your GAFE internet usage form, that was handed out during first period before break, your account may be already locked out. This means you will not be able to access your account or even use a Chromebook until that form is in and the district gets a chance to turn your account back on.
Task #1 (Quick Recap)
Before we went on Spring break we worked in groups of four and each group proposed a real world case to practice trying in Mock Trial. After each group proposed their case every student cast two votes as to which cases were their top two. The result o this vote showed us the two cases we will be looking at. Results are posted below.

Task #4 ( Case #2)
Both of these real world cases you have chosen as a class bring about important topics we have yet to discuss. Mental Health of the defendant and rape culture in the United States. Due to the sensitive nature of both of these topics we are going to go through each case as a class first and take Cornell notes individually. Everyone in this room needs to be aware of the facts of these cases and well as what can be learned from these cases. Today we are going to look at the Steubenville High School Rape Case in its entirety.
