Third Official Mock Trial Rounds

Students will be able to conduct 2 of 3 rounds of a mock trial with minimal coaching intervention.

Students will through individual and peer assistance, go through several exercises designed to increase their critical thinking skills when it comes to analyzing witness statements for trial.

Practice Trial Game -> MAKING YOUR CASE
1.Grab a Chromebook and login.
2.Go to Google and create a blank document.
3.Title it “Period #2 – Your Name – Speaking Exercise #1”.
4.Share it to MrTylersLessons@gmail.com
5.Each individual person will chose a SCHOOL APPROPRIATE TOPIC.
6.On the Google Doc. Type the name of the topic you are going to speak on.
7.You will have 10 minutes to prep for this exercise. PUT WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO SAY ON THE GOOGLE DOC.
8.You will speak for no more than 1 MINUTE. At 1 MINUTE you will be CUT OFF.
9. The purpose of this exercise is to get you more comfortable with speaking loudly enough that everyone can hear you in the mock trial courtroom.
