Task #1

Here are the positions of the tables for the cases today.

Case #1 – columbia-v-chris-archer

Task #2

REMEMBER the areas for improvement we saw yesterday when Team #2 Prosecution/Defense performed their trial.

  1. Visually show off evidence! Use photos for the jury.
  2. Better opening arguments (eye contact, loud voice, clear short argument)
  3. Make sure to figure out the order of your witnesses.
  4. Could use objections better
  5. Make sure your team is ready to ask questions of opposing counsel witnesses.
  6. Time is being wasted debating. We chose roles for a reason.
  7. Teams talking during questioning.
  8. Closing arguments need to incorporate the new material from trial.
  9. Make sure jury is paying attention.

Task #3

Each team up will be graded on their assigned role. The team that is not currently up will be using the official Mock Trial grading sheet.
