Warm Up:

Step #1 – Wifi is having issues. Grab a piece of paper at the back of the room and do the warm up by hand.

Step #2 – Title you paper “Name, date, period,” on the top right corner.

Step #3 – Answer the questions below fully.

Question 1 = What is the purpose of jury selection?

Question 2 = What is the purpose of Opening Arguments?

Question 3 = Which side starts the trial? Prosecution or defense?

Task #1

Now we will finish looking over the fictional case from yesterday to practice our steps to trial and I finish walking  you through the steps.

 

Task #2

Due to the wifi issues our first case will actually be that of Billings v Pearson. I will be giving you physical copies of these case files today. DO NOT lose these physical copies. If you lose your copy it will be your responsibility to replace it.
