Attorney – opening/closing arguments = Your notes should be focused on building your argument for trial.

Attorney – Questioning (cross/recross – direct/redirect) – Your notes should be about what questions you want to ask each witness

Witness – Your notes should be focused on detailing out the elements of your witness statement.
