Task #1 –
Based on the results of Friday’s comprehension quiz we need another day looking over Dr. Aamodt’s work. If you have not yet downloaded the powerpoint below by Dr. Mike Aamodt from Radford University due to absence you can download it below . Scroll through his presentation to get familiar with what he is trying to say and do in this work. This presentation is pretty typical of college professors. It is clunky, wordy, and not viewer friendly. After you have gotten familiar with the work go through the presentation and delete / reorganize / rearrange the work into a more viewer friendly format.

The Fall 2015 Criminal Behavior courses did a similar activity with a student developed presentation on the YaKuZa. They took the original version and improved it by deleting, rearranging, and reorganizing the information.

Task #2 –
After you have finished your editing work you will be taking another comprehension quiz on Dr. Aamodt’s work. This is to make sure that you actually re-read over his work before you started editing.
Task #3 –
Students will now go to Socrative.com and develop their own 20 questions about serial killers based on Dr. Aamodt’s work. 15 questions can be basic true/false, multiple choice questions. The other 5 have to be a Costa’s 3rd level question.

Task #4 –
When you finish your quiz grab a small piece of paper off the back desk and write your name on it followed by the “SOC-xxxxxxxx” number at the top of the quiz your created. This is to play it safe. With that number I can input your work today into my own Socrative.com account.
