Period 2 - World History

Agenda:

Quick Write: “What are five things in the painting below to convey to you that working in a metal foundry during the Industrial Revolution was very dangerous?”

Task #1 

We need to make sure that we stayed on track even with me being gone for two days. First thing we need to do is look over our work from the last couple days.

Get our the primary source three columns paper you did on Wednesday.  Let’s look it over.

Task #2 – 

If you were gone yesterday you need to download, save, and share the Industrial Revolution webquest file below to MrTylersLessons@gmail.com . Lets go over your webquest results now.

Task #3 – 

On Tuesday we did not get a chance to do this activity. Lets do it now before we move on.

Three students would be assigned to roles for this activity.  One would be the host of a radio/TV show, one would role-play Robert Southey, and one would role-play Thomas Macaulay.  The students would ‘perform’ in their roles (15-20 minutes), followed by questions and discussion.
