Task #1 – For those that were absent Friday. 



Download the Cornell Note document below for Rome if you have not already.

DOWNLOADABLE FILE -> Cornell Notes (V2)

Once you have downloaded it, click on the blue “Share” button on the top right. It will ask you to “Save as Google Doc”. Click “Yes”. Then wait a second and click the blue “Share” button again. This time it will as who do you want to share your work to. Type in Now your work is saved !

Chang the title to “Period 2 – Your Name – Rome Cornell Notes”

I am going to review Cornell Notes as a strategy with you if you are already aware of how it works or introduce them to you if this is your first time.

Once we have the hang of it you are going to go through and break down Chapter 6 Section 1 of your book. Click on one of the links below to read through the text.


Task #2 – Reading Analysis 

In our Cornell notes we have already broken down 2 of the 3 sections about Rome. Today we are going to finish off our breakdown.

Task #3 – Rome Vocabulary 

We are going to go over the Rome vocabulary and then create a cheat sheet like we did with Greece.


Task #4 – Rome Vocabulary Quiz

Now we are going to take a quiz on our Roman vocabulary words.

Review the material from today and be ready for a brief quiz tomorrow morning right after the bell.
