Agenda:

Announcement:

I will be driving this next group of Law & Order SLC students to DVI today. I will see you again tomorrow. Due to the fact I am going to be in a Correctional Facility almost all day I will not have my cell phone on me or laptop.

Task #1

Look over the results of Friday’s and Monday’s online writing activity below:

Friday ->Period 3 – Criminal Behavior Results – Terrorism Discussion Questions (5-13-2016)

Monday-> Period 3 – Criminal Behavior Terrorism Discussion Questions Results (5-16-2016)

Task #2

What do you notice about people’s responses?

My own observations:

  1. People are still struggling with writing four sentence answers to each question.
  2. Some students like Krystia, Sharde, Denise, Teasa, Kevin, Aleanah and others are doing well with writing a full academic response while others are still struggling to not write a once sentence or two sentence answer.
  3. Some students are writing four sentence responses, but are being vague in their answers.
  4. Overall there was an improvement between Friday’s results and Monday’s.

Task #3

Today I want use to continue to improve on our writing, but I changed up the material. Today I am going to have you look over real cases and their results and ask your opinion. Your responses must still be written in four sentence academic style. State your claim first, then three sentences of support.
