Warm Up:

There will be no warm up today. I will be off-site today. I will see you for sure Monday (5-9-2016)

Task #1: IF YOU WERE NOT PRESENT YESTERDAY.

Go into your google account and follow the directions below. Make sure to share this to me at MrTylersLessons@gmail.com

Directions:

Step #1 – Create a new Google Slide

Step #2 – Title the Slideshow ” The 9/11 Attack – Period 3 – Your Name”.

Step #3 – Research what happened on your Chromebook and create a slideshow that answers the following questions:

Questions

#1 – What planning did the terrorists do in order to get ready for 9/11?

#2 – Why did they choose the targets that they did?

#3 – Would you consider what they planned to do a success or failure?

#4 – How did the United States respond to this attack?

#5 – What country or countries did the United States blame for these attacks?

#6 – Who specifically did the U.S. consider to be behind the attacks? Why?

#7 – What were the political and economical impacts to the United States due to the events of 9/11?

Task #2 – WHAT YOU ARE DOING TODAY.

Step 1 – Go back into your Google account and into your Terrorism presentation.

Step 2 – Add graphics/pictures to the presentation. This helps people envision who, what, or where you are referencing.

Step 3 – CHECK your spelling, grammar, and structure.

Step 4 – Add a title slide to the front of the presentation with your name on it, the name of the project, the day, and the date.

Step 5 – Add a works cited slide to the back of the presentation so we can see where you got your information from.

Step 6 – Make sure you are proud of your work as I am going to be grading it being worth 100 points.

EXTRA CREDIT CHALLENGE (+100 points)

Period 3 did a great job of putting their Chromebooks away correctly (that means in the slots right side up and plugged in) yesterday.  I already updated your grades. As a challenge, again, today I will add 100 points to everyone’s grade if at the end of the period you put all the Chromebooks away correctly and then someone takes a picture of our cart and e-mails it to me at MrTylersLessons@gmail.com to prove that your class put the chromebooks away perfectly. If no photo proof is sent then no one gets the extra credit.
