Warm Up:

Task #1:

You will be using your warm up in this step. In your group develop a commonly accepted definition for terrorism. Once you have your definition send someone to the white board to write it down for your group.

Task #2: 

Now lets look at the scenarios from Friday that we didn’t get a chance to discuss and take a  before and after vote. I am curious to see how many of you consider each of these acts terrorism and for what reason. After you verbally state your opinion I will tell where these events actually took place and we will vote again. I will be curious to see if you stand by your judgement of an act when you find out what group(s) or countries were involved. If you changed your vote I would be curious to know why.

In this unit we should analyze and understand the most recent significant terrorist attack the United States has faced. 9/11 We are now going to watch real footage taken from people in New York City from when the first plane hit the tower to the collapse of the buildings. While we watch answer the questions in the downloadable assignment document below.Make sure to download, save, and share the assignment in order to get credit.
