Case – Billings v Pearson

Steps to Trial

Agenda:

Warm Up (5 minutes)

Head to M.Socrative.com and enter room “A89559b4”

Task #1 (2 minutes)

Remember we will be representing the Prosecution. To VIEW the SIGN UP SHEET for this trial click HERE. To actually edit the sign up sheet you will need to go through your e-mail and click the link that was sent to you.

Task #2 (28 minutes)

In groups of four you will look over the witness list and see what each witness has to offer and rank their value plus analyze their strengths and weaknesses.  Each person is to download, save, and share the assignment below – >

Task #3 (28 minutes)

Now we need to figure out which witnesses we need to pull and in what order.

Task #4 (28 minutes)

Now we will start putting witnesses up on the stand to be questioned by their attorneys. I will represent the defense till the day of the real trial.

Homework:

Each person has a role in the competitive trial to come. Tonight you need to begin studying your roll and prepping. Tomorrow we put the trial up on its feet  in order.
