Steps to Trial

Students will vote on which trials they want to work on next, what roll they will play in those trials, and then begin preparing for those trials.

Warm Up (5 minutes)
Go to M.Socrative.com and enter room number “A89559b4” to do today’s warm up.
Task #1 (5 minutes)
If you did not yet sign up for the new cases yet you need to do so by today or I will assign you roles myself. To view the sign up sheet click HERE. To be able to sign up you need to check your e-mail and then click on the link to be allowed access to edit it. REMEMBER now that the e-mail is working everyone is being tracked on what they do. Do not mess around.
Task #2 (15 minutes)
First on today’s agenda is finishing looking at opening argument examples to see what looks good and bad. If you were gone yesterday you need to download, save, and share the assignment below:

Task #3 (30 minutes)
Now we are going to peer edit our work from the case of “Columbia v Chris Archer”. I am going to share with you our filed cases and how you can make comments on each video. You have to give one compliment and one constructive criticism feedback for each case.
Task #4 (30 minutes)
Case Prep. Each person now knows their roles for the new trials. Today you will be getting ready for a trial on Tuesday (2-23-2016) next week. You signed up for your roles so lets briefly discuss what each person should do to get ready for their roll and then you will have 30 minutes to prep.
