Warm Up:

I am going to skip the warm up today.

  Task #1 

Now we will select our next trial. Please look through the following four cases and vote for one.

  1. Martin-v-Big-Burger
  2. People-v-Jackson
  3. People-v-McGrew
  4. People-v-Stevens

Task #2

After we vote you are going to sign up for your rolls.  I am going to show you how I am going to share a sign up sheet with you today through your e-mails. This sign up sheet will be specific to just students in period 2 – mock trial. Since it will now be specific you need to remember that each action you take on the document will be recorded.

Task #3 

Once roles have been chosen you will now need to prep for trial. Each team needs to review the case and create opening arguments for the case. Use the resources above to craft these arguments. We will look at some video examples of opening arguments and judge how effective they are. I will share these videos with you through google for your own reference. Save and share the assignment file below:
