Warm Up:
What? Tyler your gone again!?!?! Yeah….. I know…… I would rather be with you guys believe me. The good news is I know with 100% certainty I will be back with you folks tomorrow for sure. In the meantime, take care of the work below and e-mail me at MrTylersLessons@gmail.com if any issues come up.
Task #1
Progress report grades are due tomorrow afternoon. I have been working on them while I have been gone. All assignments are stated in Synergy, though they may not be entered yet. It is very important today that you look at your Synergy and the assignments listed there. Then to go into your google account and make sure those assignments are there and titled correctly. That means they all look the same with this following format: “File Name – Period 2 – Your Name”. After you have made sure of that make sure that they are all shared to me at “MrTylersLessons@gmail.com. If any one of those components are not done then you need to fix it otherwise don’t be surprised that your work was marked a “0” for points.
Task #2
Tomorrow I know for a fact that I will be back and I want you ready to do two things.
1 – Be ready to do the scripted mock trial of Mock Trial Script #2 -America v. Pat Morton – Scripted Mock Trial. This means know your roll. If you don’t remember your roll look at the sign up sheet -> GOOGLE SCRIPTED MOCK TRIAL SIGN UP SHEET
2 – Be ready to go through the mock trial of Columbia v Chris Archer. Again this means know your roll -> If you do not remember the roll you signed up for take a look at the sign up sheet -> GOOGLE COLUMBIA V CHRIS ARCHER SIGN UP SHEET
If you have any problems or questions e-mail me at MrTylersLessons@gmail.com
Task #3
Last week on February 4th I tried to have us build a script for the Columbia v Chris Archer trial with everyone involved and it didn’t work out so well. So here is what I think what will work out better. Today I want you working in your teams only:
Team 1 – Prosecution
Team 1 – Defense
Team 2 – Prosecution
Team 2 – Defense
Create a common google doc as a team and, using the scripted mock trial of America v Pat Morton as an example, turn the unscripted case of Columbia v Chris Archer into a scripted trial. Think of it as writing a play. You are going to state the order of events, which witnesses are called to the stand and in what order, what they are asked and how they will be respond. Make sure to share it to MrTylersLessons@gmail.com
