Warm Up/Task #1:

Notice -> Today’s warm up will take longer than usual. You have done this activity before though. Many of you took Introduction to Law with me and I want to see how much of legal reasoning you remember.

Task #2:

I want us to get a better feel for the order that a trial follows and build more confidence when speaking out in court. As a result, I want us to run through a scripted mock trial. A scripted mock trial takes all the guess work out of it. For fun I want you to vote on which scripted mock trial you want to run. You can choose one of the following:

Mock Trial Script #2 -America v. Pat Morton – Scripted Mock Trial

Mock Trial Script #3 – Star Wars (British Columbia)
