Introduction to Mock Trial
Unit S.M.A.R.T. Goal:
Students will be able to list and describe the order to trial and the intent behind each step by the end of this first week.

Students will develop a google doc, share it with the teacher, and document each of the basic steps to trial.

I will be giving you a piece of copy paper. On that copy paper you will outline your hand in the center of the page. Then you will write your name in large letters across the bottom of the page. Once this is done, you will write one fact about yourself that you want others to know on the tip of each of your outlined fingers. When you are all done you will take a piece of painters tape and put your paper on the back wall in the appropriate spot.

Next you will grab a chrome book and login. If you have any issues let me know. Go to google docs and start a new document entitled “Steps to Trial” and share it with MrTylersLessons@gmail.com
Now we will be looking over a fictional case to practice our steps to trial and I will be walking you through the steps.
If we get the time we are going to start getting familiar with our first mock trial case. The following documents are downloadable in .doc format so you can download and save them as google docs in your own account. You can additionally make your own notes and highlighting digitally as well.
