  1. I think its social disorganization because his dad was responsible for his suffering,he dropped out,he got discharged,he got a divorce and he eventually went on a killing spree. A person that was raised right would not have done what this man did.His environment was not stable and he was not able to put up with it all

  2. Genetics, biology, and revolution. One evidence is how he grew up. He was abused and put down most of his life. Then he started doing drugs which made him kill people. He killed the people because the drugs were getting to him and he started hearing and seeing things, hallucinating.

  3. social disorganization theory because of how his father treated him , how he got put back a grade & how he had to leave the military.

  4. A reason he might have committed those murders is because social disorganization.
His dad verbally and physically abused him at home.
He had to repeat the the third grade and had to be discharged from the military.
And he went through a divorce.

  5. social disorganization

    1. because he was abused alot as child verba and physical

2.another reason can be because his dad was very bad to him so he harmed other people

3.my last reason is because he went to prison and did many crimes and had no going back so he kept making murders and crimes

  6. i think the social organizational theory is the best theory to describe this case because he has a low self esteem because his dad verbally and physically abused him .He feels he has to get back at everybody that did him wrong and thinks that what he is doing equal to what people treated him in the past

  7. This is the primary theory i believe that explain the case.
Theory number 7: Biology, Genetics, and evolution.
The subject is showing he possibility has mental illness and he actually try to put the blame on that.
But he’s also showing signs for the theory number 4 : social learning theory.
He could probably had a trauma because at a young age his father abused him.

  8. I think the best primary key theory that best explains his behavior is social disorganization theory because from where he is from. His father frequently verbally and physically abused him and was also sporadically employed and frequently used illicit.

  9. The primary signs he’s showing is Social Disorganization theory . I think so because as a kid he was abused and put down a lot by his father . Also i see signs of biology, genetics, and evolution because his dad abusing him was passed down ultimatly to him abusing his wife.

  10. The Social Disorganization Theory best explains the killer and his motives. In the text it states, “…a highly unstable upbringing wherein his father frequently verbally and physically abused him.” Another example is, “…, he demonstrated belligerent behavior and low self-esteem after learning he would have to repeat the third grade,” which implies of his brain development, that may or may not be from an effect of his constant abuse. As a final example, “His three-year marriage was stormy…ended in a bitter divorce, leaving him with an intense hatred of women.”

  11. social disorganization he was always treated like a bad kid or considered different .And his dad was verbally and physically abusing him.He had to repeat the third grade discharged from the military.

  12. social disorganization theory… his dad verbally and physically abuses him, he demonstrated belligerent behavior and low self-esteem, he’s immature, committed burglary, armed robbery, auto theft, etc…

  13. #2 social disorganization theory :
Example 1: Becauae of how he was raised he thinks what he does is ok.
Example 2: & because of how he was influenced at a young age. He started falling off & started doing drugs & that lead him to his actions.
Example 3: he thinks that what he been through in the past , & how he suffered he think people deserved to feel what he felt. So that’s why it thinks it’s okay to murder.
    * there are many theories he can be but I think this one is the most fit.

  14. I personally believe the main category is Social Disorginization and developed sub categories like biology and mental illness for the main fact of his childhood surroundings and situations as well as various adulthood scenarios.

  15. The primary reason would be social disorganization theory. He was frequently verbally and physically abused by his father. His wife divorced him that made him have hatred towards women. He joined the military but was discharged due to “underlying immature personality.”

  16. The best theory that best describes his situation is the social disorganization theory. I think this because its obvious that the home he was growing up in was already rough for him cause of his fathers abuse and cause him to have low selfesteam. He was conflicted to be bad because of his past. When he dropped out of high school and went to the military they have generally discharged him because of his immature behavior, Probably made himself feel worst by being discharged. When he turned to drug it probably cause him to hallucinate some imaginary person that told him to do all those things

  17. I think it’s social disorganization theory bacause of how he was treated , being abused by his dad. It lead him to drop out of school & join the military. Also, because of getting boot out of the military it forced him into using drugs & probably using so much it messed up his head & he probably developed schitzaphernia & that lead him to become a murder. Lastly, because of how he was treated he thinks it’s okay for him to treat others like that because he thought they deserved it.

    • I agree with you on the abusing part, i think that led him down the path of a murderer. I also agree that he believed the people he murdered deserved it.

    • I agree with most of what you say but I disagree with your logic that getting booted from the military is what led him to drugs because it states that he started the drugs after his divorce which was 3 years after he got kicked from the military.

    • I agree because how the kid was treated and also being abused by his dad. I also agree that the way he was being treated, it may lead him to drop out of high school and join the military and I also agree that getting out of boot camp may have caused him to use drugs.

  18. I think it’s Social Disorganization Theory but he is also showing signs of it being Social Learning Theory because
Evidence #1: It was said that he didn’t have the best upbringing with his dad beating him when he was younger.
Evidence #2: The trauma from the constant abuse from his father could have caused PTSD resulting in him having mental issues
Evidence #3: The imaginary “force” he talked about could’ve been a residual thought or imaginary friend from his childhood or someone his mind created to suppress the memories of his father’s abuse.

  19. The Social Disorganization Theory explains the killer and why he did what he did . The Killer was brought up in a rough life. He did drugs and when he got too much , he started to kill people. A persons physical and social environments are primarily responsible for their action and their behavior.

    • i agree because his dad mistreated him as a young kid. he than dropped out high school left the military and grew up to be a killer and criminal that does drugs

  20. I think he committed armed robberies because he did a lot of things in multiple states . The social disorganization theory explains the killer and why he did what he did .The killer was brought up in the crime because he was there . People should think very wisely before they do something.

  21. I think it’s Social Disorganization Theory because first he was abused by his father when he was young, he demonstrated belligerent behavior and had low self-esteem until he realized he had to repeat third grade again. Also I believe this could best describe Strain Theory as well because through out the whole story we just read about him I think he felt like what he was doing was okay, everything he achieves he achieves through crime.

  22. I believe the theory to explain the criminals behavior is Social Disorganization Theory because where the criminal is from. His father frequently, verbally, and physically abused him and also sporadically employed and frequently used illicit drugs. Social Disorganization Theory explains where you grew up primarily responsible for acts.

  23. I believe that the theory to explain the criminals behavior Social Disorganization theory because from where he was from his father physically abused him and was also sporadically employed.

  24. I agree with because,The text does state that he was physically and verbally abused by his father which caused a rough patch in his life. And then his divorce ended bitter which may have caused him to hold some type of grudge over women.
