Serial Killer Behavioral Analysis
Unit S.M.A.R.T. Goal:
Students will be able to behaviorally analyze a killer without teacher’s assistance with 80% accuracy in 4 of 5 trials.
Now that students have basic knowledge of the following famous serial killers: John Wayne Gacy, Albert Fish, Andrei Chikatilo, and Jeffery Dahmer they will be practicing behaviorally analyzing them using the notes they received on Tuesday and the case information from the last two days.
Behavioral Norms (Student Developed):
- “Respect others opinions”- Selena (20 votes)
- “Staying on task” – Israel /Ally/Kenny ( 21 votes)
- “Only one person is allowed to talk at a time” – Charles (22 votes)
- “If you feel like you are going to lose control or getting irritated you need to let Mr. Tyler know and stand outside his door” – Tyler (23 votes)
One-on-One Murder, Modus-Operandi, signature, characteristics
Task #1 – Yesterday we began a diagram, but did not have a chance to fill it out. Today you will have the class to break down these killers behavior. If you need more information on these individuals I have provided links below. If you happen to finish early it would be a good time to start thinking about how you want to do your research project. The directions for it are listed below under “Homework”. Remember that this project is due April 17th, 2015.
