Organized Crime

Unit S.M.A.R.T. Goal:

Students will be able to identify and distinguish the differences between the origins, businesses, terminology, and mentalities of the following organized crime organizations: Russian Mafia, Yakuza, Mexican Cartel, and La Cosa Nostra in 3 of 4 formative assessment trials with 80% accuracy.

Today’s Objective:

Students will gain a fundamental understanding of organized crime mentality, language, and services. We only got to step 3 on your introduction yesterday so we will be doing the activities in this lesson today to finish up our introductions.

Behavioral Norms (Student Developed):

  1. “Respect others opinions”- Selena (20 votes)
