Today’s Objective:

Students will be analyzing Russian Maximum Security prisons. Specifically Black Dolphin in an attempt to discern differences between the way the U.S. runs its prisons and other countries.

Task #1- We are going to set up a data gathering form to be able to help us identify aspects of Maximum security prisons that are different from those in the U.S.

Task #2 – Now we are going to look at video clips from various prisons in Russia today to see how they treat inmates, their rules and policies, and inmate rights.

Students have been reviewing information in an effort to determine if the factory system that developed in the United States during America’s first Industrial Revolution was helpful or harmful to the U.S. With an essay due on Monday students will be looking at video clips of the U.S. Industrial Process as it is today.
