Body Language

S.M.A.R.T. Goal:

Students will gain introductory level knowledge on reading human body language through observation and analysis. Students will demonstrate knowledge of this content through a writing activity to be measured with a standardized rubric.


Your ticket out the door today will be to identify the key terms from today’s material.


Task #1 – Announcement – “Grading will be updated through Synergy by Tuesday so make sure to check out your grades tonight.”

Task #2 – This weekend I spent some time making improvements to the Photo Timeline. To look at the new timeline click HERE.

Task #3 – Before we begin today’s material I want to go over some final aspects of the Final Project that is due this Thursday (12-18-2014).

Task # 4 – Lets conduct a classroom experiment on how well we can read people.

Task #5 – Now we will set up a Cornell Note Style paper. We will be first looking at a introductory video on Body Language that looks at how world leaders behave in different circumstances.

Task #6 – Discussion on new material.

Task #7 – Brief writing assignment on new material.
