Criminal Behavior HeaderTopic:

Final Project

S.M.A.R.T. Goal:

Students will demonstrate successfully setting up the first half of their cold case psychologist reports to 90% accuracy. This will be measured by reviewing student developed reports based on the zodiac killer cold case we will look at in class today.

Vocabulary:

Serial Killer ; Psychology

Agenda:

Task #1 – Quiz – “Define, in your own words, the term Serial Killer”

Task #2 – Review results of today’s quiz.

Task #3 – Review the results of yesterday’s Ticket Out the Door. “Remember, we are not trying to solve these cold cases we are trying to put together a psychological report of the killer based on facts from the case” – Mr. Tyler

Task #4 – Lets look at the Psychology report format. We will cover each item one at a time. I will highlight in blue the sections that we cover as we cover them. If you want to download a copy of this report to your phone, tablet, or computer click here -> Psychological Report Student Template

Task #5 – I want to make sure you know how to fill out the form so we will be going over a sample cold case that was not of the list of those you could choose from.

Task #6 – To give us context for our Cold Case Psychologist Report example we are going to look at a 3 minute 45 second clip from “Zodiac”. What we will be looking at will be the first confirmed murder committed by the Zodiac in 1968.

Task #7 – Now we will be going through the report together and filling it out section by section.
