Students will continue to evaluate and synthesize information about the YaKuZa from previous student work.


Task #1 – We began this assignment yesterday, but as we found out it was going to take much longer than a day to finish it. Today we will be using class time to finish this assignment. While you work here are a few tips:

  • Be ready to defend why you kept certain information and why you put it in the order you did.
  • Add additional graphs and photographs to increase effectiveness of the presentation.

Remember we are trying to reduce unneccessary information and also put it into an effective order.

Pretend you are giving this information to a law enforcement agency like the DEA, FBI, or CIA. They want to know the following information:

-Who are the YaKuZa?

-How did their organization begin?

-Who is in charge?

-How are they structured?

-What symbols do they use?

-What are they involved in?

-What is the weakest point? Where should we attack them?
