Daily Teaching Summary (5-14-2014)

Economics We headerI was selected by the Superior Court of California to serve as a juror on a criminal case. While I am gone I want you to form up into groups today. Each group will grab one of the yellow Economics books in the back of the room on the shelf. After acquiring a book I want each group to go to CH 16 – Federal Reserve and Monetary Policy. As a group read through the first three sections then answers the questions at the end of each section. Each person must have their own paper and answers. Be ready for a quiz when I get back on this material.

CH 16 – Federal Reserve and Monetary Policy Notes

Criminal Behavior HeaderI was selected by the Superior Court of California to serve as a juror on a criminal case. While I am gone today I want you to form up groups again. At least one member needs to have a cell phone that is internet capable. Under “STUDENT RESOURCES” on today’s Daily Teaching Agenda post there are two files. One is a paper entitled “Serial Killing Myths Versus Reality – A Content Analysis of Serial Killer Movies”. And the other is “Peer Review of a Research Paper”. Today in your groups you will be continuing to read through the Serial Killer analysis paper and answering the questions from the peer review paper. Each person is to have their own paper and their own answers. You began this assignment yesterday (5-13-2014). I received several e-mails asking for one more day to complete the assignment. Use your time wisely, because I am going to collect the material you have had two days to work on when I return.
