TEACHING AGENDA –

Today both periods 2 and 3 took a quick quiz on mafia key words to show me that they know a majority of the words and how to use then. Then we looked over video clips from “The Untouchables”. This allowed students to be able to analyze mafia life and police work in the 1920s. We were also able to briefly cover the Volstead Act and the 18th Amendment. It was a good refresher course for U.S. History students and good introductory activity for sophmores who have not yet taken U.S. History.
