Periods 1,2,3 = Introduction to Law

Teaching Objective = Students are to demonstrate prosecution, defense, jury, and witness skills with minimum 80% accuracy.

Teaching Summary =Today Intro to Law students had part #1 of their final exam. Students who were playing the parts of prosecution, defense, and witnesses were scored today. Students playing jury roles be deliberating on Thursday/Frida depending on when they have class. Thursday & Friday are officially final half days. Periods 1 & 2 will be seen on Thursday and periods 3 & 4 will be seen Friday.

Homework =Students who were playing jury members today need to be re-examining the case of People v. McGrew to determine their true feelings on Dannie McGrew’s guilt or innocence.

STUDENT OF THE DAY = A. Moroyoqui – This student needs to be recognized for his great work playing a witness (1st Responding Officer) in todays Mock Trial of People v. McGrew

STUDENT OF THE DAY (HONORABLE MENTION) = V. Forrester – This student also needs to be recognized for her great work playing a witness (Lou Bower) in today’s Mock Trial of People v. McGrew
